LFB Chiltern Challenge Walk - 4th September 2011
This event comprises a circular walk starting and finishing at Ruislip Fire Station, Bury Street, Ruislip offering a choice of two routes - 16 or 27 miles. All checkpoints supply cold drinks and snacks and an embroidered badge and certificate will be presented to all walkers who finish their route within the times allowed. Advance entry £8.00 Entry on the day £10.00. Eastcote Royal British Legion.
This year the Royal British Legion is celebrating it's 90th Anniversary, and trying to raise 90 million pounds.
Hillingdon Council are supporting the RBL throughout the year.

Cost £6 to enter the Lido Laps .

River Pinn Volunteers.
Tuesday 6th Sep at 9.30 Swakeleys Park. Meet at the end of Milton Road/The Avenue entrance to the park. Tasks: putting up bird boxes, clearing overgrown vegetation and litter picking.
Tuesday 20th Sep- River Pinn, end of St Margaret's Rd Tasks: litter picking , cutting back overgrown vegetation and clearing river bank from rubbish and Himalayan balsam.

Litter Pick. Sunday 4th September 2011 11-12noon meet at The Cavendish. Please come and help keep the Parks tidy and welcoming.
