When planning alterations or extensions to homes on the Eastcote Park Estate
it is important to be aware of the implications of our Conservation Area
status. Here follows a copy of the
leaflet produced by the London Borough of Hillingdon in 1999 to
assist residents, prospective residents and their architectural advisors
in the designing of possible extensions or alterations to property on the
Estate. Of course, this was applicable when the estate was an "Area
of Special Character". There does not seem to be an equivalent document
covering the rules for the new status.
Any questions relating
to planning should be directed to the
Planning Department at the London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre,
Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1UW.
