Events

The EPEA family picnic will take place in Eastcote House Gardens. We will set out on the higher ground behind the café, adjacent to the rear of Pamela Gardens.

Please bring your own picnic and drinks, plus plates, cups, cutlery etc.. The council has confirmed that personal alcohol is allowed, so beer and wine is fine. We will NOT be providing any food or drinks on the day except for cold squash in case it is a hot day. The café will be open its normal hours.

We will supply a few garden chairs for our older residents, or those who have difficulty getting down onto a picnic rug. More able residents should bring their own if they wish. There will be a couple of gazebos in case anyone needs to sit in the shade or hide from a shower.

The event is free for EPEA residents, and family members (including grandchildren) are welcome to join us. All children attending need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will remain responsible for their safety and well-being throughout the day. We will have activities for children such as face painting, a duck race, egg and spoon race and kite making / flying.

Attendees dogs will need to be on a lead at all times due to food being around at ground level.

Please come along and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with your neighbours. We will post something on our website if we have to cancel due to weather, so please do check on the day.
